I know this becomes an issue for those that frequent the site daily. But for a new or seldom user, its expected.
I cant have both. I can only teach how to stop them.

Its a 2 step process.
1 - Stop future subscribed to emails.
2 - Stop past subscribed to emails.


Stop future by adjusting settings here - https://hondasxs.com/account/preferences
Stop PAST by turning off emails here - https://hondasxs.com/watched/threads
--- Then, in the top right look for Manage Watched threads --> Disable email notifications.

Try this and report back in a few days and let me know if it worked PLEASE!

@Hondasxs - I'm noticing that the new post notification facility is working in a very haphazard fashion (the bell on screen, NOT email notification, as email seems to work fine). Sometimes I'm notified sometimes not. In the old system, I could refresh the screen and I would reliably get a new notification listed on the bell icon. Now, sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't - even when I know for a fact that new posts are available.

Another odd (but perhaps minor) issue is, that when I see a number indicating new notifications, I can click on the bell and, for instance, if the number showed 4 new notifications, the flyout menu will indeed show those 4 notifications highlighted. But, once I visit one of the new notifications and go back to the bell flyout, the other 3 (which I've yet to examine) no longer show highlighted. It can become a bit of a nuisance if you've got a large number of unread, as this old brain tries to remember which ones I've read and which ones I haven't.

Just giving a heads up. Thanks for all your good work.
