I have reverted everything back to a working condition.
Images should now post fine.

All this work centers around images like yours that are "hot linked" outside this server.

Ever read a forum and the pictures no longer work? This new backend mod I'm testing will prevent that!

Once I get the solution worked up I will be requesting some more.
