All those open racks are great until you spend a week on dusty gravel roads. We spend a week in South Dakota chasing pdogs every year. After a couple of days your rifle would be a useless mess.

I agree. You'd need the top of line enclosed case with a lot of padding if your on a big hunt. I look at some but I need it more for coyotes on the farm and need to get to it quick so I have to go with the open rack. I need a find a rifle rack that will fit a carbine on the bars. Any good ideas that have worked?
Had a little encounter with a tweeker on the property where I dropped their s*** off down on the public road with the cops help, they love the Kel-Tec...LOL

I finished my install. About $20. Got one for the tractor too.Trying to stay away from anything obtrusive in the seats. I do like to overhead idea.
