Its nice, But I see no mention of its water resistance/weather proof, if any. For me, this can not be a compromise. I must be able to hose off my machine without too much worry.

That's a great point. One website said it was water and dust resistant but I can't find an IP rating for it anywhere. It's marketed for utv's so I'm surprised it's not listed. Probably better to look for a different model.

I like to know that everything in my Pioneer can hold up to pressure washing, thus the sound system is all marine rated.
