P1000 Max tire height with 4" Portals and new width

After my ride last weekend doing some rocky trails and bottoming out. I would like to lift my SxS. I love the ride on the fox shocks, so I done want to mess that up with a lift kit. I'm thinking 4" portals with 15% gear reduction. My question is..... Will it make my bike wider??? or can I off with rims?? also whats the max tire height I can run?

I don't know how big of a tire but the portals will make you about 8" wider in total, 4" per side. How big of a tire are you wanting? Some people here are running 30"-32" tires with a-arms and a lift, there is also an IGR @25% you could look at.

Thank you. I’m hoping with no lift
maybe 29” tires. Any thoughts on offset rims to keep the width closer to stock width.
