I had grinding shifting into L on my 2017 P1K5. Subtrans was slightly overfilled, so drained some out and adjusted the shift linkage as per the Forum. Still ground occasionally so I filed a 1/4” slot straight down in the shift lever plate on the dash. So long as I pull the lever to the bottom of the slot when shifting into L, it will not grind.
