If it's factory there's no real cost difference in straight or arched. Skid either they're taking one off and putting different one on, every SXS should come FACTORY with a UHMW skid.

I agree, I was just indicating what it would take to get a current model to somewhere within 75% of the X3 chassis minus heavy fabrication mods, which would make more sense to redo a whole frame or rolling chassis.
Factory cost from current skid to proper uhmw many $50 difference in materials. The current P1K skids can be beefed up with paper plates, it's that inadequate in my opinion. Unless you stay in the yard, pasture, or golf course. But you do have turf mode for the latter.

I don't think any self respecting golf course would let you get anywhere near a fairway with a 1000, turf mode or not haha!

I have played a few courses where a Pioneer would have been better suited than a golf cart though.

I got that covered already but it isn't calibrated right it flips me over in drivers side everytime I hit 88.

As long as people are willing to pay or more correctly finance a $500 a month payment on those $27K machines OTD. It will stay there, if Honda comes in with a generally competitive product at 22k they will eat market share like crazy.(Other than the Popo boys who get a case of Extenze & KY jelly with thier 30K machines, sand crowd will never be disuaded)

and actually the s3 race team -- that maverick is stock. all they had to do was reinforce some parts of the main frame/ structure and add support to the roll cage to make it past inspection. other wise that machine is stock
