I have a full rear windscreen as well as a full front windshield and this is how I mounted my KWT particle separator. It is out of the way of my rear view and seems to be high enough to get it out of the dirt flow. I could mount it higher on the rail if I felt it necessary to do so. Hope this helps !!
Yes, I used two light bar clamps, since they allowed the allowance for the proper angle and clearance needed for installation. The long arm brackets that mount to the KWT came with the kit. The clamps were needed to make it work on the side rail. The kit comes with clamps that fit the smaller cross bar just above the back bulkhead. If one uses these, and want to use a rear windscreen, he or she would have to cut a large hole in the windscreen to make it work. I chose not to do this, and it works great where I mounted it !!
