Looking at pics of twin air filter, it’s a very similar to the R2C with a clamping flange. The difference I can see in pics is of course the twin air is all foam, including the flange. And the clamping flange looks to be plastic. So my thought is, if some of the R2Cs failed and they are urethane, how is foam going to hold up? Same as R2C, the foam is only smashed between the mounting plate and the air box. Seems to me that the foam wouldn’t be as strong as the urethane. The twin air filters have not been out very long either. My distributor doesn’t even have any yet. I wanted to order on to check it out.
They may be fine. You never know until they’ve been out a little while.
