I am sure we can help you knock it out pretty quick. I don't remember exactly how long it took me to do but it was not bad - I used ramps to raise up the Honda and slide underneath. A better way would be to tilt to the side as they show in the videos but I was not going to do that by myself... I can bring my ramps if needed.

Or hook the winch to a tree limb and pull the front up.

Here is one at Amazon (same one I have) I am bringing 2 and your more than welcome to borrow one of mine. If you do get one I have the sync cable and can program for you while we are there. I will set it up with all the frequency's.

There are some other models out there as well but this is the one I have experience with

Not sure - A few pages back @Hondasxs posted a feq that worked well at Takeover and I think we can use that. I usually program all the FRS and GMRS (which you should have a license to transmit on) so that if a channel we chose is in use we can swap to another one - I'll post the list here in a sec

Used this one at the takeover. 462.6375
Worked well. I was really impressed.

462.6375 is FRS ch 4. So no license required to "use" this channel.

Also allows sandard walkie-talkie radios to work on CH 4 but they must set the privacy to 0 if they wish to reply.

Any FRS should work fine you just wont get the distance that the others will get - but for trail riding in a group you could get away with it

Im thinking maybe a winch line to the roll cage. I could also drive one side on my carhauler trailer.

Well my Trail Armor skids came in yesterday. Had a dinner for one of the grand daughters last night. So not able to install them. Anyone up for helping me install while we are at Mulberry if i cant get them on tonight?

You know it man gimme a beer then another beer then I'll talk about what we do get ready drink one more beer and it will be done! lol I been procrastinating as usual so I have no been to sleep in about 40 hours got all the mechanical issues fixed (well stable at least lol) now I just have to install the entire body and pack woooo. If I blows up while I'm there I'll just ride on top of some one else's ride they won't even know! I'll try to bring what spare parts I got as well just in case and some beer.

OK, thanks. Got all FRS and GMRS frequencies programmed into my ham HT. Oh, and drfubar, I rechecked the lug nut torque as well.

Well it looks like I'm going to be able to get away from work at about 11 so hopefully I can leave the house by noon or 1 we should be there early Friday morning before noon hopefully
