I’ve been rocking my jbl extreme 2 speaker for tunes since I bought my talon. I’ve been using the cheap Velcro mount that you’ll find on Amazon. Who has a better solution to mounting it and still being able to get to the charging port with a back window on?

Mine is mounted on my front ROPS bar so that I don't need the phone to adjust volume, etc. Heavy duty zip ties with some foam wedged in to keep it from swinging. Not fancy, but it stays put.

Love my JBL extreme. I built a mount for it in my P500. It is mounted above my head on the ROPS bar between the seats. I used 2 Honda ROPS clamps, 1x4 wood board I cut down, and 2 large zip ties… I painted the base black after I took the photo. I unclip and flip it forward to charge it. Has worked out great so far, no complaints.

Thanks for all the ideas. I snagged 1 of these fire extinguisher mounts that way I can quickly pull it off to charge it. I’m going to try to mount it tomorrow

You can literally put a 12” sub and 2 6 1/2” speakers over your head between the ROPS for around the same or less profile. The down side is it’s above your head instead of in front. That entire system hangs around 2” below the ROPS. If you’re 6’ or more it MAY be a problem. If you’re not it’s NOT a problem. Oh and still have a rear view mirror lol

If you bought new no lol. It already had speakers and I had the amp and bought the sub used for $200. One plus with the JBL is it can get soaked and there’s no worries at all.

Quite a difference between mounting a JBL pod and building a real system. Better sound but far more complicated. As for better sound, try some 10's. 🤘

I would agree. But for me the jbl works. I can run it all day with no fear of a dead battery from my tunes. For a concert in the woods my buddy has that covered, I was just looking for simple
