P1000 I've made my decesion

I made up my mind about a month ago to buy a SXS. I considered the Kawasaki Teryx , Polaris General and the Honda P1K 3. I'm going with the Honda, it's what I wanted from the beginning. I priced them at all my local dealers and Abernathy's beat everyone by at least $400. That being said I'm going to buy local and put the money in my community, plus I like the orange better than the red ones at Abernathy.

You made a good choice,if you are used to a belt drive it will take a few miles to get used to the shifting characteristics but i love it now and they are a lot less quirky than my polaris was.

Never really thought about it, I've never bought a rig because it's my team color. My truck is silver and I'm a Raiders fan so maybe I did it subconsciously LOL.

Good for you. I am glad that you are making an informed decision.

Now to throw one more hat into the ring.

Are you 100% sure that you don't want a 1000-5? They are only $1,000 more but you get those 2 extra seats in the back and the self leveling rear shocks. Then of course for $2,000 more you can get the Deluxe. I have the Deluxe and I don't think that the LED lights, 4 Ply Tires and 14" wheels are worth that, but I wholeheartedly believe that the extra seats in the back are worth it over the 1000-3.

I originally was only going to get the 1000-3 but my wife talked me into the 1000-5 and I am glad that she did. I there are more times than I have expected that they have come in handy and by far they are the biggest feature anyone that has seen it/ridden with me has been impressed with.
