Knowing me I will probably trade it in for a fresh rig within two years like I just did with my 3 seater.
Wow, that’s a lot of time spent adding accessories and modifying things. Anyway, what I meant was, what happens on the insurance after two years, it gets prorated?

Its time we'll spent, I like messing with my rig. I would imagine that it will be prorated, I didn't even ask. If I still have it after two years I will shop around for a better insurance price being that these rigs drop in value a good amount.

$42 per month. State Farm, Colorado mountain town. Really good policy, very comprehensive coverage, $500 deductible. I don't mess around with "bargain" insurance. This is dang near as much as I pay on a 2017 Subaru Forester, although significantly less than I pay on my trucks...
Any good financial planner can tell you that being un- or underinsured is the #1 threat to future financial stability and retirement; personal experience - it's true! (positive personal experience - I've always carried good home, auto, and medical insurance - saved my @$$ in the 2013 Colorado floods)

What do y’all pay for your side by side a month? A fire thread got me thinking that I should probably insure mine since I have close to 20k invested into it....

I don't have insurance on anything of mine, haven't for years. I can't imagine how many thousands of dollars I would have spent over the years for insurance and ended up never needing it. I'll spend that on more toys and take the risk ;).
On a side note, I sure am glad the fine for not having health insurance is gone for '19, now I can drop it as well :p

Gotta admire anyone with the balls to stick it to the man but those are high stakes you're playing there...always a second away from f***ed for life?!

Remember what Dirty Harry said, "do you feel lucky?" I don't like paying for insurance but I don't feel lucky.

If you're a veteran, USAA was cheaper. About $220 a year with same coverage as my Chevy Silverado. I know it sounds high, but replacement, fire, theft , etc with $50 deductible.
