Nope, I called up Extreme Metal Products and asked if they would sell a set of brackets separate. I like their setup because it attaches to the bed and tilts with the bed. They said sure, was only $40.Where did you get the tailgate brackets? My guess is some sheet metal that was "scrap" and made them yourself.
I know the kind of Richard Craniums of which you speak. Work with several. Although one recently shot himself in the foot and is gone.
The top is 1/4", the rest is 1/8". I didn't want it to be too heavy by using all 1/4". I have two gussets inside for strength. The bumper curves to match the rear profile of the machine. I will post pics when I get a chance to mock it up.I'm really liking your rear bumper, I've been sketching up a design for one myself.Did you make the rear one from 1/4" stock also? Good idea on calling emp for the brackets, that will save you a little head scratching!
I'd make a template from one..I love it too.I have made 2 bumpers now but never could get the brackets right for the dump bed and tailgate.....so I gave up but now Im calling EMP......Thanks for the idea and let me know How it works and turns out finished
I would too, if I had oneI'd make a template from one..
