I've had my P1L-5 LE a bit over 60 a few times, but generally cruse around 45 or so. It gets noisy.....

Because trails don't cross at best places we have to ride the highways from time to time here in Nevada. We haul ass in my 2017 1000-3 at about 55 on highway and when crossing salt beds it is best to go 60. I have factory tires.

Stock size Tusk Terrabites (balanced) front and rear. 10 ply tires, DOT compliant street legal. 66 MPH all day long. Straight and smooth.
I did the same, saved the big horns for another day. Mostly below 50, still haven’t installed the turn signal kit to be really legal yet.

The question was "how fast you rode comfortably," not how fast you could push it dudes...

😁
I drive the speed limit. Seriously.

In SD it’s 65 on the State roads, 55 on the county roads.

without the windshield the P1k5 can pull 65 no problem.

The black stones are noticeably quieter than the bighorns at speed.

The Spartans have a pretty standard tread. The material seems to wear very well though. I feel quite secure heading out into the Mojave with just the four of them. They are heavier than the OEMs but are basically a 12 ply tire. They also have an individual load capacity of 1250 lbs. per tire at 12 psi.

Sorry if this post is redundant, but I’m new to posting here. I believe I may have posted earlier that the Spartans have a pretty standard tread. The material seems to wear very well though. Oh stocks I've been matted just fine otherwise I'm doing the speed limit if not 5 over. I have 30" interco sniper 920s on my p1k-3 and have passed people on the highway with them on there. I also put balance beads in.
How do you like the interco sniper? Do they seem to last a while?

My machine has the original Bighorns - have hit 66.
No half sends.

And no, the Bighorns aren't good pavement tires. My next tires are likely Kanati Mongrel 10-ply.
A lot of others say they are great on and off road. They are DOT compliant.
I have a '22 P1K-5 which has Mongrels and Elka shocks. I reside in the sticks where we have many country lanes that I travel often. I also have 2 Kubota Sidekicks wearing Mongrels which run 42 mph flat out. I run 50-55 mph in the Pioneer on the smaller roads and 60+ on state roads. They're good off road but not exceptional in clay mud, but amazing on tarmac and trails, especially the sandy soils we have south of here. They ride smooth, have strong side walls and aren't loud on pavement.

Pedal to the metal on the country roads near our farm when needed however I usually keep it below 50 when traveling from area to area. Stock tires are fine but the thing to remember is like a big truck, bus, etc a utv is a drive straight, slam on the brakes and pray in the event of encountering an obstacle in the road at speed. Sharp turns with a high center of gravity is what you have to be aware of.

As for noise and running at speed, my Pioneer this time of the year is tolerable. When I put my Honda door tops and soft cab enclosure on during the winter, the noise is maddening at speed. I attribute this to the straight cut gears in the tranny and the cavernous interior of the machine. I wear foam ear plugs when enclosing when it gets cold.
