I'm still not sure when ill be leaving. Moab riding is definitely on the list too at some point. I may leave earlier than the 17th in order to do some more Colorado exploration on my way to the Paiute trail. Colorado that time of year is awfully beautiful. After the Paiute ride I may head to Moab depending on how crazy is is over there. Otherwise I"ll be heading up to see @CumminsPusher after the Utah ride.
1st set of pics are from Chicken Corners/ Schafer Rim-Potash ride near Moab in Feb. Second group is San Isabel NF in Colorado in Sept.
I got distracted and started to think this was the Paiute Trail thread. It takes too long to upload pix so I'm just gonna leave it here for now. Derping Dan!

For those of you wanting to explore the Moab area, I'd like to recommend this book. I picked it up when I was there last February and it was worth every cent. Great detailed information on all the SXS/UTV/ATV trails in the area. I believe @SouthParkColorado has a copy as well.

Paiute ATV Trail Guide

It lists the exact loops for a 4 day ride of the main 300 mile trail with all the best POI food and fuel information.

Will there be a waiver or some such, and will someone inform my next of kin if I decide to go all Thelma and Louise and/or accidentally?...... I still think for those traveling alone like myself, we should have some way to inform family members in case of an emergency. Just a thought.

I jotted that idea down in my notebook. For now, best bet would be take your farm business cards and jot down your emergency info on it. Make sure a few people have it. Ideally the lead and tail of the group you are riding with.

No waiver on our side, this is a ride at will, group ride as you AGREED to.
Hum... That was mentioned. I can practice with the registration records now I guess and add something.
But, always recommend having a contact card in your wallet or something.
