Morning. I would do a set for the front doors. What’s your pay pal and $. Thanks Larry
Pm me you’re address, I’m headed out the door with several more mailings in a little bit, I’ll get yours in too. No PP necessary.

Just installed my door bushings! What a huge difference. I did use anti-seize because they were so tight they squeaked. Great upgrade for the doors. I bought the forum a beer and I challenge anyone who receives these bushings to do the same. I could not have done this without the great people in this group.

Ok I’ve only got a couple sets left, looks like there’ll be none to send to @Neohio for Takeover but I do believe he’s got 120 already.

I did find some variation in the pin diameter and some had a slight bend to them which meant they wouldn’t perfectly slip fit. I left my pin at home the day we did the run so it I went with stated size. We hand reamed them and felt they were as close as we could get given what we were mating them to. If I some
how get my arm twisted again to make another run, I will make that bore another .005” bigger and have the machine do it. That would probably be a little looser for fit but not too loose for rattle.

I was happy that my pins had an interference fit and was thinking “this is how Honda should have built them” as I was driving them home. After getting the doors mounted and found absolutely zero up/down movement in the door, I was even happier.
I’m sure Honda built all of these pieces to looser tolerances with ease of assembly on the line in mind but they should have compared notes with Yamaha in the way that they built the YXZ door and hinge assemblies.

I received the homemade bushings in the mail. First impression, they look totally professional. I installed them last night and the fit is fantastic. There is zero slop in the doors now. Being a mudder, the lower hinge pins were caked up and rusted. Once I cleaned everything up, reassembly fit together like an Isotoner. I want to thank everyone involved. @Cuoutdoors for the design work @OleRed for the production @Montecresto for being the pivot man and thanks to @Kilo427 for starting the thread because we lost the other bushing thread. Thanks very much guys! Excellent work! And at the very least I’m buying the forum a beer. If we ever meet up, I’ll buy you guys a case.

He knows how to pivot! Won’t find many that can operate a 3 way pivot the way he can!
