Also did everyone else put the ballast for HID lites inside the headlite compartment or outside the back cover. One of my kites shutdown and after checking connections and cycling headlote switch it refired.

I put mine inside the housing as well. Lots of room with a slim ballast

I'm going to reorder the same thing again. Hopefully I just got a bad one. I was able to plug the oem connector into the connector. It just doesn't have the correct clip to hold in to place. I think it was tight enough to stay together

I did too.. how did you do your ome plug to hid lights?
The kit came with two plastic female connectors that the pins on the pigtail clip into. It comes dissassembled that way so that you can determine the correct polarity by trial and error before pushing the pins into the female connector. So, I just pushed the pins into the plastic connector, and plugged that to the connection on the harness that the bulb connects to.

I did want to mention that all the kits I've received had multiple extra plug ends, is this not the case anymore?? Usually like with the 800 series they will include all necessary hardware for that line.

I don't remember ever getting a set that didn't have correct plugs in the kit. That sucks but I guess you still prevailed
