P1000 Help needed ASAP !

Has anyone seen this I'm finishing my snorkels up and found this on drivers side of engine do I need to reroute this vent too ?

No you don't. If I'm seeing that right, it's the weep tube for the water pump.

That's exactly where it's coming from I just didn't know if water is capable of slipping through it thank you .

I pretty spend half my driving in deep water and haven't had an issue yet. I have snorkeled everything else though.

Hahah thats right .... I've got everything finished and greased up now .......should I remove air box cover and silicone it or just leave it alone

I would leave it alone. But might would check it. Hate for the seal to be pinched at factory.
what snorkel style are you going with?
Be sure to do a vacuum test on it to make sure it is all good and sealed.

I'm running the diver down highlifter one I haven't dielectric greased anything yet because they are all sealed and I hate to mess with them I think I'm going to grease just the pcm under the seat for now

Thank you, over the years I've learned with age that it's better to take your time and do it right the first time .... so
much nicer and easier to work on then !

I haven't found one either.

I guess if there was a drain plug, it would be at the bottom of the intake tube under the front seat. I know there's not one there though.

Just curious, why are you looking for one?

I just wanted to make sure there was itching else I was forgetting. But today it was tried and trued snorkels are perfect !
