P1000m5 Help deciding on top?

I have the same exact setup and am trying to figure out a good solution to the SATV flip up brackets sitting so much higher. Personally, it drives me insane as I feel that this much money should just fit nicely. I spoke to both RMATV and SATV and neither had a solution at all. I was able to get all 3 roof mounts and both windshield mounts utilized,but I still don't like the fit.

Have u found a solution yet? Can u use velcro straps on the front for the windshield instead of the clamps? I am going to have your exact set up and trying to plan ahead for the fit problem.
