I live in NE wyoming. It's hot as heck rt now with Temps in high 80's-mid 90's and I use my sxs every day and even after replacing my glass windshield with a split windshield it's just plain HOT. I have a blower under the seat and heat shield all over under there. I been looking at portable AC units buy I'm curious is anyone has tried it and if it worked?

What SXS do you have? And do you have a pic of it? Deputy dog is going to get on to you without it. 😂

And no, you’re not going to air condition your SXS.....😊

Living in Florida, I've though about it, but can't come up with a viable option.

Living in the DEEP South, I understand HOT. The good news for you is your 'summers' does not last 9 months nor do you have the extreme humidity to add to the heat. Remove the windshield, to let the air help remove the engine heat from the cab, that is your best bet.

Move to Alaska?

To use a portable AC you would need to run a generator in the bed.
5k genset
Window AC unit out the back.

Should work fine.

Swamp cooler would work too.

You can DIY these things but the link is what I am referring to.
So then you put upper doors, solid front and back windows and spray foam the hell out of all the gaping gaps all over the machine....😂

I was gonna say swamp cooler. You're not going to cool the cab down like in car, but a slightly cooler breeze blowing across might help.
