P1000 Has anyone found aftermarket axles yet?

Like the title says. I broke and outer CV on the front left. Looking for options before I order an OEM replacement.

Most likely from the amount of lift I"m running. CATVOS 3" arched arms and 2" spring spacer lift. I believe they broke when I was turning at full lock. Wasn't hitting it hard, just turning around to pull out another machine when I heard it pop. Don't think it's anything to worry about with quality of parts. I think I just found the limit with my set up.

Just got back from picking up my OEM replacement. I'll try to do a write up of the procedure. Honda part only comes with the shaft and outboard end assembled plus boot, grease, and band. Must reuse the inboard CV.

Searching for axles again. Anything new out yet. Rough trail last night. broke both fronts.

Are you using the steering stops?

No steering stops. Talked to a guy at CATVOS about them (not Scott), wanted $50 shipped for them. Kinda forgot about them after conversation.
New axles are at the dealer waiting for me to get back in town.

Almost ordered a set of Turners for $495 a side + shipping, but my dealer may warranty these for me.

That's crazy! They sent mine for free and you'd think with that high price tag, they would include free anyway.

Watch the brake caliper, my brake calipers was hitting the A-arm and could cause brake failure.

Also, with out the steering stops I think it will over extend the CVs and cause failure.

I installed the one's they have for their a-arms and they need to be cut in half or something, really limited the turning radius. They sent me mine for free though, might try to call again.

I agree that they are too big. I've been wanting to remove them and cut them down some. If I do it, I'll take a measurement.

Not sure if the guy I was talking to realized that I had the lift. Tried a few more times, but Scott wasn't around. Spaced out and forgot about the stops until that last ride.

I installed mine from satv so far it didn't hurt much but I haven't had it on the trails yet just out in the yard
