Has anyone ever trailered a Pioneer on a military 3/4 ton trailer, either a M116A2 or a M101A2??

I was wondering if anybody has ever tried this before. Back in the day I used to have a couple of these trailers and I still do have a pintle hitch that swivels that attaches to the back of my truck that I pulled off of a M1009 CUCV Blazer. It spins 360* I had it mounted onto a raised extended hitch for towing tall military trailers. I’m kind of curious how this would look and function. I’d be towing it behind my f350.

The M116a2 was designed to haul generators
The M101A2 was designed to haul cargo and it has folding/dumping bed which was made so more could be hauled together on a train car. I want to say they’re rated for 1500 lbs and are towed by a fixed lunette ring.

With the camper rig you're looking at, you'll need a place to carry fuel, that Military trailer is just big enough for the P1K. And the P1K is about 1700 lbs, already 200 over the trailer's 3/4 ton rating. I carry 47 gallons of fuel (~300 lbs), three 20 lb. propane bottles (~100 lbs), a 7 gallon water jug (~56 lbs) and a highlift jack, nearly 2400 lbs. including the 1900 lb. outfitted Talon.

I carry 47 gallons of fuel (~300 lbs), three 20 lb. propane bottles (~100 lbs), a 7 gallon water jug (~56 lbs) and a highlift jack, nearly 2400 lbs. including the 1900 lb. outfitted Talon.

Gonna add an under the bed 65 gallon tank for a total of 100 gallons. I think my truck has a 36 gal tank already. I’ll need extra fuel for the 1000 though. Maybe carry 4 speed bottles of gas. For long howdy treks and desert wanderings

I love my aluminum trailer. at 545# it's light enough I can move it around by myself and when towing you don't even know it's back there.

I'm completely happy with my 14'er, Talons and P1Ks are close to the same length.

Under the bed of what, trailer? 100 gallons is ~400 lbs. I camp in one deserted spot and stay there until I've ridden everything in the area, it's not unusual to run out of trailer fuel before the area is done (47 gallons), so 4 speed bottles (5 gal. race jugs?) is only 20 gallons.

3500 lb. single axle maxxed out but I buy gas as close to camp as possible -
