It sits outside at camp all summer. The sun will weaken them over time. Why would you replace them in a sxs when they expire?
I would be concerned about that. The shoulder straps wouldn't hold the body correctly. They would pull your torso to the side I would think.Just wondering if the OEM retraction belt / device could be used as a single anchor point for the harness shoulder straps?
Would relocate retraction belt point behind center of seat. @Moses bar looks good. P1000 - NEW!! Honda Pioneer 1000-5 1 Piece Bolt On Harness BarsI think all you 500 guys need to band together again and get @Moses to build a bolt in bar like he has on the 1000.

I honestly cannot comment on the 500. I am not familiar enough with them to recommend safety items.Would relocate retraction belt point behind center of seat. @Moses bar looks good. P1000 - NEW!! Honda Pioneer 1000-5 1 Piece Bolt On Harness Bars
You don’t cover it?It sits outside at camp all summer. The sun will weaken them over time.
$200 for new harness or up to $5,000 for an ER trip.
Nope, neighbor covers theirs. Find rodents in it all season. You don’t cover it?
Could you not keep it in the hauler?Nope, neighbor covers theirs. Find rodents in it all season.
I could, but that's just a pain to do. Especially when wife has the garage setup as a dinner table or for guests.Could you not keep it in the hauler?
Ahhh, got yaI could, but that's just a pain to do. Especially when wife has the garage setup as a dinner table or for guests.
Leaving it outside doesn't bother me at all.
I mounted it thru the 1x1 frame the seat sits on. I am not confident it is the "right" way though.@Neohio
How did you mount your 5th location? I prefer the idea of a sub strap, but want to do it 'right'. Thanks/
