Just rolled 2,000 miles on my P1000-3 non-EPS. The tires are getting pretty worn out and the handling on trails is noticeably bad as a result. I’d like to get a set of decent tires for trail riding. Rail grade, sand, rocks, gravel, mud, and some road travel. I had a set of original Bighorns on my Rincon and really liked them. That’s kind of the direction I’m headed right now. I would be staying with the stock sizes. Any opinions?

I love my Quadboss QBT846 tires. I'm running 28x10s on all 4 corners but they also offer 27s. 1000 miles with almost no wear other than a few slices from rocks and obstacles.

I see you’re from Oshkosh. Where do you ride?

Pretty much everywhere in Wi and the UP. 1800 miles since October 2016.

I like Oconto county because it's close. Hayward and the Dead Horse trail is awesome. I have an annual trip to Drummond Island. Black River falls is great if you know it rained recently

My in laws have a cabin in Silver Cliff. It’s a nice location because you can access Marinette, Oconto, Forest, and Florence counties legally. Just did a trip last weekend to Black River Falls. With the dry weather, the entire trail system was washboard rough. Two passes with the groomer and they would be awesome!

The whoops and washboard don't bother me but the dust can be terrible
