P1000 Front CV boot split/torn help

Ok so I forgot to address this before, and my dealership is to backed up to get it done before Royal Blue next week. What do you guys think about not having it fixed before I go? Is there a temporary fix I could do? I haven't ever had one split, so not sure how bad it will be to still use it. It has puked a little grease here and there. Let me know your thoughts? Thanks.

How bad is it? Is it a small hole or is it completely ripped.
You should be able to make it through the ride but should go ahead and budget in a replacement.

I say order a new one and we will put it on for you before the first ride! Me and @tramgauge1 will set up shop to assist members that need repairs.

Ya, it shouldn't take no more than 30 mins tops to get it fixed up.
