P1000 Fox QS3: worth the upgrade?

I have the QS3's, but haven't played with the settings yet, I think (but not sure) I have them all on "2". Should probably try 1 for lightly loaded?

I just installed a set of Fox on my deluxe. Night and day difference! Ordered them from Ron Ayers. Took about 8 days to get them. Best upgrade yet. The price has gone up.

Ha! That's what I was thinking - I know there's several guys on here waiting for their shocks. What's up with these different part numbers, they have to be the same shocks, right?

Looks like @05Willys bought the shocks from the parts department. I am guessing the guys waiting bought them from the accessories catalog.

That's what I ordered 2020 2021 LE shocks. Is there some reason these are not the right ones? I have a 2021 deluxe and wanted the LE shocks. They fit good and work great. That's sounds like a win to me.

Looking at the pics of the 21's I'm guessing that your springs are silver? The older versions were red. It sounds like a can of spray paint could save a couple months wait. Enjoy.

I bought the 814's because of all of the "adjustability". They are way better than the factory shocks but they are a pain to get dialed in for the different terrains that you might ride in. That being said, I would shoot for the walker evans first, then the foxes second.

Yes, my springs are silver. That is the color I wanted. Yes, my SXS is red, I don't know how long it will stay red.

Thanks for the offer. I was just trying to comment on why some guys were still waiting on theirs that they ordered quite awhile ago. I'm guessing they were the accessory part number with both shocks and the red springs. It looks like it might be faster to go the way @05Willys ordered his so at least you can get them on and enjoy them. I'm really wanting to upgrade but just can never find a good enough reason to justify the price to myself. I've got a really good wife that says to just get them, but everytime I add them to my cart I chicken out before I hit the order button. Maybe one day.

Ron ayers is hoping to have tracking info for my shocks Friday. Seems like they could have offered to substitute the back order ones for the other since those are obviously in stock
