P500 For Sale: Rubber Noise/Heat Shield

Finally got to use my p500 after installing the heat shield. I used my drag to smooth out the road to my neighbors house. Noticable quieter and cooler. I should have got one sooner. Thanks again.

I have to say, i noticed a big difference using the heat shield! SXS is actually quieter than i expected and is much cooler in the seat now! Also, shipping was fast and i live a long ways from Trigger! Thanks for a good quality product at a reasonable price Trigger!!

Got my shield this week, in just a couple of days after ordering. I’m tickled with it, fits perfect with the Kolpin rear window I just installed and now I can easily visit with my passenger up to about 30 without screaming at each other. The seat is a lot cooler too! Thanks @trigger!

I had 48 figured off of measurements but ended up getting 46. Don't know if the roll was short or what, not like I'm going to pull out 100' and check it or anything.
I agree, easier to clean, works better and will outlast the carpet mat stuff too. Can't go wrong for the price either. But, if they've ran their course, I'm good with that too. Those in the know have one already.

If I could get my hands on one for a day. I've never pulled the seats and looked at one but I've seen pics, pretty sure it could be made for the front but don't know what could be done for the rear. These ride on top of the plastics so the tilting bed means a break between the two. I know most guys with the P1's are installing a fan underneath.

I rode today and it was 94, heat index over 100. I noticed it and the wife confirmed that there was more heat coming from the front than the back. This thing definitely works.

I grew up around the Flint area myself, last lived in Frederic, between Grayling and Gaylord. You'd miss it if you blinked at the 1 flashing light. Been in the swamps since "78", miss riding the woods up north though.
