According to the Samsung spec sheet the a7 lite has:

GPS, A-GPS, Glonass, Galileo, and BeiDou.

I could not find anything on the spec sheet that talked about weather ratings. However I found 2 review websites that claim the a7 lite is dust-proof and non rated water resistant.

So we purchased a T Mobile Samsung A7 Lite tablet yesterday. It is going to be our test tablet for the pioneer riding. It will then be used by my wife's company and we will make a final decision on purchasing one for the pioneer after we try it out.

Do you know if this applies to the a7 lite?
I just used an A7 Lite with OruxMaps and an Otterbox Defender case on our last overlanding trip and it worked great. Accuracy was spot on. The case isn't 100% waterproof (I couldn't find anybody that makes one), but its pretty water resistant to anything short of getting dunked. All of this was installed on a RAM mount.

Should I remove the SuperATV flip up windshield for my 10 hour drive to ride royal blue?

The windshield will hold up closed if that what you are asking.
Now I can't speak to road hazards.

I did remove mine for a 14h drive once and back home.
But I don't for 5h drive to TN.

I tow it closed, the longest trip I have made so far was 2 hours one way. I am thinking about removing it for the trip but I can't decide.

I would leave it on. Its 8 hrs to RRB for me and have traveled that way a few times with no problems. Also my cabin is 3-1/2 hrs from my home and have made countless trips there and back that way and no issues. Just do it!

I have some stuff to add to my build thread at some point but throughout last week I mounted the chainsaw holder, grabbed a couple of 30ft straps from harbor freight, bought a cordless ryobi power washer, installed a fire extinguisher, and crammed the Coleman mini bike into the pioneer bed. Ride Royal Blue is coming here quickly.

I will leave it on then. Plus it's less work for me in the long run :)

I'd ditch the mini-bike unless you are dead set on bringing it. That's a lot of extra weight and you won't need it. You won't be that remote and you'd more than likely die on the mini-bike if you were anywhere that the Pioneer wouldn't drive out of :). Strap a grill back there instead and cook out at Top of the World.

Does anyone know how well t mobile service works in the ride royal blue area? I am thinking about investing in a data connected tablet for ride mapping.
Most mapping software do not need cwll service to log tracks. There are many threads on this site about mapping software. You can set up a nice tablet without investin a fortune.

The mini bike is there to provide comfort that we have a way back if anything happens. It was something that kept us from fully enjoying Drummond last year. The fear of getting into something we couldn't get out of. I figured the weight wasn't too bad considering it weighs less than a single grown adult in the back of a 1000-5.
