I have 2021 Pioneer 1000-5. Right now it has only 46 miles on it. I am leaving Tuesday, May 31, for the Black Hills to ride the trails. I expect to put maybe 150 miles on it, so it should be around 200 miles when I leave on Friday.

I know that Honda recommends changing the oil for the first time at 100 miles. Does anyone see any problems when going about 200 miles total before I change all the fluids? I don't see it as critical, but wanted to check with all of you. Has anyone had any problems by waiting just a bit beyond 100 miles?

My first ride was a one-day, 550 mile Baja pre-run. Changed the oil on day 2 and what came out of both the engine and the sub-trans looked brand new. Will be fine.
Yep. I moved my oil changes out to a thousand mile intervals and see no difference in the old verses the new oil and still use the Honda oil & filters. I like to take a look at the oil to see if anything is running a muck though. Let me back track a little, when new and when Honda was having trouble with the clutches, the oil was fouled, but not since the real fix, I have over 3,500 miles on the real fix, now and I like to rock crawl, that means slipping the clutches.
