I was thinking about installing a Dome light in my 1000/5 when I noticed the two round holes in the cage by the center hoop. I thought about the rubber mounted trailer lights and I found clear ones on Amazon. its a pain to cut out the metal to get it the right size but I did one tonight. Here are a couple of pics.

That is pretty sharp and a good use of space - how much bigger did you need to cut the hole.

I bet there is a light out there somewhere that will already fit that hole... Cool mod and use of existing space

Shoot an email to the folks at etrailer? tell them the size of your hole and ask what they have available.

My existing hole was 1.75 I had to cut it to 2.25 for the 2 inch rubber mounted light to fit. Hint you have to put the rubber grommet in first then push the light into it.
