Do you carry a fire extinguisher?
Why not?
.
Yes I do but for a brush fire, If my SXS catches fire I have insurance for that.

True story!! HahaWhy you should have one, because another mfg sell more roman candle SXS than everyone else combined and the operators foolishly carry fuel in a plastic can resting on a 300 degree cargo bed, what temp do you think gasoline boils? I do not intend to find out like these folks:
And this concludes todays object lesson on why you should spend $65 on a fire extinguisher before you spend $400 on a cooler.

Or just someone that knows how to have a good time!I don't have one. That ranks right there with seatbelts, helmets, sway bars, and drinking while 4-wheel'n.
Yep, I'm an idiot.
I don't know of a specific case but isn't that why the 700 got the updated skid plate? Then I'm an idiot right along side of you! Although I do push belts. Has there been a case of a pioneer catching fire??

That different than spontaneous combustion! LolThat was a couple cases of dry grass on top under the exhaust that was found to be smoldering but I'm pretty sure it didn't cause fires. But Honda was really fast at coming up with a solution on that it wasn't a government forced recall 5 years later

That's why I wanted to carry one. Not worried about my rig catching fire so much, but you just never know when you might need one for whatever reason. I like to be prepared, one of the worst feelings there is is knowing exactly what you need to solve a problem, and not having it.I don't want to sound like an advocate of not having one either. I do have a pretty white one in my watch list. I think it's a really good idea and is required in lots of areas, people should have one even if they aren't worried about their own rig. It could put out someone else in need or possibly stop a forest fire from something stupid.

This is what I use. Good price and solid mount-Ok while looking at the fire extinguisher I had on watch I saw thisView attachment 21063ok funny!
But I couldn't find factory Honda unit lol. I'm going to pull the trigger if can find a good deal. I agree it's important and not sure what's taken so long. Anyways I want a nice solid mount not Velcro ( unless that really holds well) and don't want to spend 150 for mounts. Anyone find anything reasonable.
