P1000 Different type clamp for steering boot?

Had too much fun this weekend and bent another tie-rod. No biggie. I thought I read somewhere on here where you can use a different type re-usable clamp on the big end of the boot that clamps around the rack. I think it looked like a carb type clamp. Seem like it would make changing these tie rods easier.

I’ve been using ZIP ties with out any trouble. I have actually had them off several times replacing broken steering stops and there is never been water inside them. And I do spend a lot of time in the water.
