"NO HEAT COMING THROUGH" 🏆🏆🏆

Sent from my moto z4 using Tapatalk
Thanks for posting this Doc. I've seen the DEI video that he mentions but never an owner video. I'm sure it helps with the heat as any attention given to that under seat area would. Won't lie and say I didn't watch it with discriminative eyes though and still feel comfortable that what I offer is a superior product.

can anyone comment on the fundamental and/or functional differences between the DEI and the Quick Shield? I currently have and am about to install the Quick Shield, but I am curious.

Fitment it spot on and easy. Nuff said.

DEI comes in several pcs that mount behind the plastics. Some of them use adhesive. A QuickShield is a one pc rubber blanket that covers the entire area under and behind the seat. No adhesives or unnecessary seams that may allow heat through. Helps with the noise too.

I just purchased for our new 1000-5.
Really hoping for the back seat and specifically the "no-step" cover in the middle which gets really hot.
Is there a fan solution?

Can't answer for the DEI product but the quick shield works great.

There are tons of people on here that have added under seat fans to get rid of the heat. I added a bilge fan just like @bumperm. You can search up top to find the info. I'll add a link if I can find it

I've had the DEI alone, later removed it and installed quickshield with a fan. The DEI has real insulation, so it's ichy when you have to get under the seat, checking fluids, getting in storage, etc. I personally like the quickshield better, easier to install/remove, gives you more coverage from the hot area. The fan is probably most important, but having that area sealed off so it doesn't get blown up through the seat is also important.
