Workday at camp and lease Saturday. See if get a few pictures posted if got signal.
No pictures. But it sure did feel good to be at deer camp today. Stay didn't last that long. Left house this morning about 4:30 pulled back driveway about 3:30 this afternoon.

Got this road opened up before deer season started. It goes up to an area that I like where there is a nice spring. It had a slide over it from last winter.

No my wife is hunting for her buck. She has passed up a couple small forked horns. I picked up a second deer tag and going to get my bear tag tomorrow.
Deer season opened at daylight this morning. Had fox come through at daybreak. Hawk screaming next to me. One doe come in around 9am. Got a pass. got out of tree at 10:15. Went back camp fought bright red wasp that look like they were about 3 inches long trying put sxs back in trailer. Got stung twice. Run me out of my flip flops trying get away. Low was 64 at daybreak. I left and come home about noon. When pulled away from camp temp was 89. About hour ago temp was 96. Cool front suppose be coming in in next 24 hrs cool things off a little. Good cool front coming in Wednesday. Lows in 50's highs in low 80s.

Dam! Thats way too hot to sit in a stand. Especially if u shoot something, better get it to a cooler fast! My max temp is 60 and that can still be eh… deer here move when its cold. They wait till dark when its hot to move. Guess because when its Seaon here its generally cold high 30’s 40’s is ideal. Our bow season opens Oct 1st. Then Gun season aka Deer seaon as traditionally called opens Nov 15th and we usually have 2-3” snow at the cabin then.
Laying in bed in camper with AC on.. Waiting on cool front coming through tomorrow. Temp is around 83 after high of 90 today. Low suppose to be around 31 Wednesday morning last time I looked at forecast.

weve been in the mid to upper 40’s at best for the highs here the last week. Close to 70 last week. Sucks when its warm in stand. Wish you luck with the weather for better hunting
Watched it get daylight while sitting in my climber this morning. Thunderstorm storm was popping off in distance. Started raining little around 8:00. Decided get out tree before I got soaked. Didn't go this afternoon. Temp warmed back upto 80. Years back wouldn't have thought twice about it. I would got in tree.
