Few pics with this weekend’s adventures with @CID and @WillyBill and wife. Another hot one but we made due. Great ride! Sad seeing these guys take back out of Idaho😐

First time actually fixing something. Prop shaft has made noise from day one but lately it sounds like it’s wanting to exit the machine. Huge ride next weekend so since I’ve had it for 6 months it’s time. Thanks @SuperATV
Hasn’t been fun tonight

Update on the turbo.
After fighting turbo related s*** ride after ride I think finally have relatively dependable. New tuner and tune from PPEI seem good. At this point I wish I’d never messed with it but hopefully it’s going.

Well f*** a duck! Could NOT get the front c-clip on the driveline no matter what. 4 f***ing hours last night. Calmed down a bit and decided to pull the front diff tonight. As I was trying to install front diff on the floor it still wouldn’t go. I started cleaning out the race and found an extra o ring. I didn’t put it in there, the old one still had it’s on and new diff as well. Idk but I’ll tell ya that must’ve been the problem cause she slipped right in after that. Someone is an asshole…
Going together.

All right!! Stupid prop shaft in. All new bushings, ball joints, tie rod ends, brakes all around and lower control arms. Finally put that crap in. New fluids and checked around everything else. She’s ready to mingle

Getting ready to head out on a couple hundred mile journey into the woods this weekend. Not even positive on the path yet. There’ll be nothing around including our camp so making some room. Threw on some genuine Honda bed anchor’s onto the roof for tie downs. Pulled our big cooler from the back and replaced with a smaller one (this pains me!) got a few tools and got room now for clothes and s***.

Just got done mapping our ride this weekend, at least from the new territory, we’ll play it be ear and hope no closures. We’ll sit down at the bar at the hot springs tomorrow and figure out how to get back. This is a new adventure for us. Lotta miles deep into Montana to the Bitterroot Mountain Range from our neck of the woods.

Finally figured out why the machine would occasionally shut off and die while riding. Throw a bunch of codes and dash lite up like a Xmas tree. It’s been sporadic, occasionally fire right back up and sometimes be a lot of f***ing around. I noticed last ride when it did it fuel pump wasn’t making noise with key on when did start.
thought maybe it was the accessory fuse (only fuse I messed with, used an add a fuse for intercooler fans trigger wire) as when I’d mess with it it would occasionally fire immediately after but I kept checking it and looked good. So I went through most all connections and this week cleaned all grounds. Been a pita trying to locate a problem that happens so infrequently. About ordered fuel pump. Last night got pissed and started going through the fuse box yet again started taking it out of the machine and spotted this. Idk how it happened but looks like the terminal was installed incorrectly, and been slowly sparking itself to death.
At any rate I’m headed to wrecking yard to see if a replacement terminal can be found from Honda car, I suspect it should be same.
Anyways I believe I found my last gremlin😊

If you don't feel like messing at the wrecking yard, your local Honda auto dealer should have a bunch of pins in stock.

Never ever thought about calling
If you have a good parts guy that you use for panels, just ask him to look thru the wiring box. Shouldn't be more than a buck a piece.
