You could heat it up some, which will probably help. I simply greased my up, pressed downward on it and TWIST it back and forth. No clamp will be needed, it is TIGHT! I tucked the end up under the dash.

Panty hose need to be off anyway. LOLget a pair of pantyhose and stick over the end then insert the pre filter and zip tie it to the tube
Put a light film of dish soap on it, and twist it on.I’m having a hard time putting the hose on. Any tips?
