Talking with @Adam490 and looking into planning a overland adventure in Coalmont TN late April.
And we are looking for a few riders to join.
We need 3-4 machines. 8+- max.
Otherwise, it becomes hectic with a unfamiliar trail system.
If you are interested, hit me up via private message.
Skill level - Modest rider or above.
Recommend mods - skid plate, winch, and non factory + size tires.
NEW OVERLANDERS WELCOME!
We can guide you with supplies, food, fuel, and gear.
This is not a huge park so it is not a long distance adventure like the ones up by Royal Blue.
Mostly hammock camping but there are spots for tents.
My plans of right now are to arrive Thursday sometime, and camp at the waterfalls.
We will need to return to the truck Friday evening to refuel.
Then Saturday we are looking into heading to Coppinger Cove.
I am aware of 2 good places to camp in Coalmont.
But I have no idea about Coppinger Cove.
Both areas are free to ride, donations requested to support the town.
I will make a decent donation on the clubs behalf if we go.
Parking is a $10 donation to the town.
Biggest concern is weather as a modest rain will cancel this adventure due to flooding.
This will be my last ride before the Takeover.
Ok. Let me know.
thanks.
