I hear that. I was looking at that today, they are weak.
I ordered the stock bar.. it hasn't come it yet. But I will end up replacing them with something that's actually useful. You get the nerf bars in yet?
If anything add a tube at the rear tire area to the frame.Looks like a couple hours each side then a brace in back and this crap would never happen again. Not worried about a little extra weight there

That's a good project for you!!Does anyone make a tube frame set up yet. Just need a bomb proof chassis with a chopped top real nerfs and exoskeleton protection that I can move the plastic and drive train too.
See if u can sleeve the inside before putting them on.I ordered the stock bar.. it hasn't come it yet. But I will end up replacing them with something that's actually useful.

Wonder if u could use a big piece of rebar and fill it with anchoring cement? That stuff gets to around 10,000psi and expands as it cures and safe for metal. Gallon cans of JB weld would be awesome lol. That would be a good idea. Use a steel structural glue between the two. Even high density expansion foam would help lots

Lmao!! Only if it's a warm sponge!
a harbor frieght pipe kinker is good enough to bend up some rock sliders. I really like how mine turned out. Gave the oem tube added strength and also helps kick the rear end out when rubing against a rock, stump or tree.Looks like a couple hours each side then a brace in back and this crap would never happen again. Not worried about a little extra weight there. Probably get just a little bigger and trim plastic to fit. Also weld in nuts at the bottom for the skid plate
