A pillar ID 1.6480. OD 1.7775.
B pillar ID 1.5730 OD 1.7750. Those taken with my cheap 30.00 digital caliper so take it for what it's worth. It's served me well in the past so I trust it.

I have to chop my cage for clearance. I want to leave the front but drop the back and remove the rear ROP bars and add a large gusset to the back (no rear passengers). What's the correct method of leaving the front but dropping the rear? I have some ideas but wanted to know what others have done. (I'm still going through this rediculously awesome thread)

If someone is just needing a couple inches clearance, a flat roof is an easy mod. 1/8" aluminum will run you around 200 for a 5x8 sheet. I welded tabs to rops and used 3/8 buttonhead bolts with 1/4" rubber washers. Lower and quiet as a mouse plus tough as hell.

Can't get any lower than that.

I just finished chopping mine 4, 4.5, and 5 and cutting the super ATV windshield 3-7/8" and installed a wfosxs aluminum handle .
I still need to get more tube and put in harness mounts then it may get red or gray truck bed liner on the cage.

Hey all...new guy here, but what's the right amount of chop on a 1000-5 to still be able to sit people in the rear? Chop look is legit but if I can't sit anyone in the back because they smash their dome, it becomes a form vs function debate.

Idk, mine is 4 rear and I sit back there myself. I’m 6-1”. And have speakers at back.
Chopped more in nose to give it a rake to get under stuff and to keep pool of water on roof dry.
