Yes they have day parking. Right down the street from the campground. Gotta pay to park.

if i understand the map right i think there is a trail that actually goes close to his place. close to a 100 yr old cabin. he built himself hasnt been lived in in about 65 yrs. i went up there in 2000 with my grandmother and she showed me where it was at
