
Can a 5+2 Offset wheel be put on as a 2+5? I know the valve stem would be inaccessible, however I could drill a second valve stem whole and have one on either side, depending on how the rim is installed. Thoughts? Has anyone tried this?
Totally agree.In most cases no. The lug nut holes would be seated on the wrong side , the mounting flange of the wheel wouldn’t sit flat to the hub and it would most likely rip the oem valve off on the brakes (unless you were running larger rims or flush mounted stems ) but for many safety reasons I’d say no , unless you were running a spun alloy atv style wheel (think Douglas or ITP L quad wheels ) for sure not oem or any major stamped steel or cast aluminum wheel
