California, Nevada or Oregon trail riding

Most of the trails are forest service roads, so that would be Inyo National Forest, I am close to Bishop CA.

Heading to Nevada tomorrow to explore some old Pony Express area at Cold Springs Station off Hwy 50 ( Loneliest Highway).

Funny, I was born in Bishop CA. The day after I was born we moved to Moab UT. Never been back.

Back out clearing trails Saturday after all our California storms. Lost count of how many trees we cut out of the roads.

Anyone in Northern California or Nevada ever ridden out of Washington California near Grass Valley California? Was thinking about going first or Mid November after the first good rain to settle the dust and before the snow hits. Was going to camp at River Rest resort in Washington with the motorhome. I have never ridden there, but hear it's pretty good. Go to Bowman lake and other small lakes in the area. Would be nice to go during the week.

Heading to Virginia City Nevada May 1st for a poker run on May 3rd. From there, heading to Cold Springs Station Nevada on May 4th for more camping and riding with friends.
