I'm in the process of preparing a 500 gallon tank to hold ethanol-free gasoline.
My plan is to have a 12 volt pump on a car battery, and a solar trickle charger.

Anybody else keeping fuel on hand? Want to share what you have done to make it special?

I store 60 gallons in 5 gallon plastic gas cans. It is 87 octane 10 % ethanol and untreated with stabilizer.
I did a five year old untreated gas test in my 2005 Tundra. I ran the Tundra to empty and than added 20 gallons of five years old untreated gas. The truck ran perfect. I constantly add 3 or 5 year old gas to my powersports equipment with no issues. My favorite gas cans are VP racing cans. They hold almost 6 gallons.

300 gallon gravity fuel tanks on stands can be had round here for couple hundred bucks.

In my area anything over 300 gallons needs to be in a secondary containment vessel, and reported to the state.

might want to reconsider the size of your tank.

Unfortunately ethanol is extremely hygroscopic and will readily pull moisture from the air.

Your Tundra could get away with some water and poor fuel due to the ECM, but a non efi engine will run like garbage.

I've run several old carbed engines on old E-10 that was in vented gas tanks. Other people have had problems with it after only a year or so. It could be the environment, how picky the engines were, dumb luck, a combination of factors, ...dunno.

I have no issues with carb ATVs, lawn mowers, generators or automobiles also.
