I have a rigid tool box that I bought from Home deport that I keep pretty much all my tools in. This box is water tight and dust proof. I keep my recovery gear in the floorboard of the rear drivers side seat. I just have to open the door and grab. I also have a bigger box that I bought from Walmart, Lowe’s or homedepot that I keep a few bigger items in such as rain gear, trail food, tie rods, etc.I’m looking to get an idea for a box to put in the bed of P1. I’m wondering if anybody has found one that fits really well and also curious about some of the essentials people are carrying with them!
@Koda has a neat box that I believe is built for the back of Jeeps - it takes up a good bit of the bed but has drawers - and that would be welcome for me.Thanks Fella’s,
I guess I’ll have to tag along with the wife next time she goes shopping... I was hoping maybe somebody would build a box that follows the contour of the front of the bed. I’ll have to keep an eye out for a spare tire for sale on here also! Could save a lot of headaches down the road!
I decided to go this route after Overland Adventure in September. I got tired of having to unload all my gear to get to my tools and other miscellaneous junk. It seemed like everything I was looking for was on the bottom. Has worked out great so far.@Koda has a neat box that I believe is built for the back of Jeeps - it takes up a good bit of the bed but has drawers - and that would be welcome for me.
