@joeymt33 , yep, looks like more amps for car use would be better.
Well, this one claims to work for up to 6.5l. Not sure as I haven't tried it.
I do know it jumpstarted that dead tractor three times without needing to be charged in between and that includes letting the glow plugs warm-up. I'm sure it would start most cars and pickups. I carry it with me in my truck but haven't had to use it yet. I highly doubt it would start an old 7.3 power stroke.
My buddy has the same DBPower and has a 5.7l Nissan Titan. It jumped that engine easily he says.

Them stinky, noisy 7.3 power smokes are much better not running.I highly doubt it would start an old 7.3 power stroke.
Funny we've been talking about this. Yesterday my old '67 Ford with the 352 big block had a dead battery. It wouldn't turn the motor over once. The DBPower started it like it had a new battery!
I'd say everyone needs one of these things. Doesn't matter the brand I don't think. Just get one!
@Mr_spkr , thanks for the ($30+) discount code. Just ordered some. This is why I posted this thread, so much good info shared by members. The money saved easily makes up for the donation to this Honda SXS forum.

Don't leave it...where it will freeze...Joey's right, everyone should have one. I've been carrying a Bestek brand one for about a year. I've jumped my truck a couple of times and my gutter guy's box truck once. He asked me if I had some cables and I told him I had something better, he looked a bit skeptical when I brought it out but it fired it right up. The days of jumper cables are done. Just check the charge occasionally.

in cold weather....that's there...downfall
...1st hand witness. ...my brothers...cracked
wide open....2015....winter..Jackson Hole..WY
...I do know a charged battery....weathers better
..than a dead...or almost dead one.
Just sayin....
