P1000 Battery Box Drain

The box for the second battery in my P1000-5 does not have any type of drain hole. When you take the hood panel off to wash under it the box fills with water and there is nowhere for it to go. Has anyone drilled a hole in the bottom or put a drain in theirs?

Good point not sure I have ever looked!

The under the hood box had one small hole drilled in it... I added 4 1/2" holes.

A couple of holes shouldn't bother anything.
Your battery sitting in water could be a problem.

My 1000-3 has a hole in the far left hand corner of that box?
