Or just use more screws, and nutzert the frame, I used 3/8" dia screws on the skid of my old tube chassis rock crawler.

Installing nutserts on mine is on my to do list but I keep putting it off. Very time consuming doing it manually. And I'm lazy lol

What are you using to install them? I find an oversized nut with a star washer and a flanged bolt to be pretty quick

Yeah I used that same setup at home. We have a manual tool at work but it doesn't work any better than the flange bolt. Like to have a pneumatic but wouldn't use it enough to justify cost. Got several tools in shop that fit that description already lol

I gotta tool just for that along with standard and metric nutserts. Works like a breeze too. You decide you wanna do it holler at me.

It takes longer to drill the holes than anything. The kit i got work's great.

Too late I did this last weekend lol. I've used same piece of flat stock to install them for about 10 years lol. They aren't hard to install at all, just not fond of installing so many laying on my back lol.

Right angle version makes it easier under machine, but a little more difficult to get it seated correctly.

Haven't seen that one. Prob would help out quiet a bit. Mine is the smaller version but 90 deg would be nice.

McMaster Carr has a good one, Northern tool has the disposable version. Get McMaster Carrs nutcerts as well.

I welded a nut to the flat for depth. So I didn't have to remove skids.

Yes McMaster Carr is one of my fav places to shop. If they don't have it, it doesn't exist lol
