Out here at the ranch / range we have a variety of utility vehicles. Early 2000's Mule 550's that are always on the hairy edge of death... (one's had it's roll cage re-welded 3 times that I know of). Several ATV's of dubious parentage, and a Polaris Ranger that is doing, well... "Polaris things" involving the axle and cv joints.

The shining star of the bunch is my P5 (purchased out of a sense of self preservation). Another Honda would be nice, but the P5 would be too small in terms of size. A 700 would probably be good as a work vehicle here, the 1000 is pure overkill. Are there any other side by sides that are shaft drive? Just as a point of comparison though, I'm pushing for Honda.

No. It’s dct or full on manual. I hear CanAm has a dct coming as well.

totally agree the 700-2 will haul anything you want around the farm and will just about do anything. it just wont do it fast. lol

I think the 700-2 would be excellent. It is a workhorse. Have had mine up to 45mph. I don’t think that would be a problem on most farms. LOL.
