P1000 Anyone use tracks ?

I have to admit that the weight of the Pioneer does concern me a bit for going out on the ice. That is a cool rig your friend has, I've never seen one of those before.

If you badass ice fisherman then either you use ATV with flotation add ons (american Jwheelz or russian brand , I forgot, got them in my garage, will test this winter on P500), or build out of aluminum boat similar to Wilcraft or buy Wilcraft Wilcraft - Ice Fishing Perfection

Or if you bad ass rich icefisherman and explorer and live on swampy ground then buy Sherp for 50k

One more thing, open youtube videos posted by JACKAL and email those who posted them, may be they are the owners of those P100) on mattracks or know those people and could connect u with them . It worked for me when I was searching online and emailed all youtube video authors and was able to find out about their experience with tracks.

I vote for Mattracks Maxim personally for P700 and P1000 but for P500 Camo is better for deep snow or EZ Mattracks for all around application

those rigs are for the hardcore ice fisherman ! maybe when I retire. The Maxim's are a lot of track, personally I think they're all overpriced for what they are. If I pull the plug it will be the ones in the $5K range.

I did send an IM to Tritonman, he posted pics of a 700 with Mattracks.

very cool ! I think those are Camoplast tracks. I think I'm starting to lean towards that brand, they have been helpful sending info on their product. All I get from Mattracks is a pushy salesman that only wants to talk on the phone.
